These sand separators have a clear
housing so you can see what is happening in them.
The system is designed to spin the
water inside the housing causing larger particles such as
sand to fall to the bottom trap and the smaller particles
get filtered out with the filter. There is a ball valve at
the bottom of the bowl to clean out the sediment in the bottom
of the bowl.
The filter is a screen filter so
it can be cleaned over and over again as needed.
Head design creates centrifugal
force to separate particulate matter from
water. Screen "After-Filter" prevents
small particles from re-entering product water.
