1 ) Clack is a smart memory valve. It keeps track
of your daily usage and will regenerate itself
at the designated time chosen by the customer,
if it senses that there will not be enough softened
water available for the following day.
2 ) Clock has a back up, so when you loose power
you will not have to reset the time of day.
3 ) It is a 1" ported valve which = higher
flow rates than the Fleck 2510 and 5600 valves.

field testing, Clack introduced its first line
of composite control valves.
In response to market demand, Clack developed
a line of water softening and filter control valves.
The valves were designed with the water treatment
professional in mind, and incorporate many features
that were a direct result of feedback from our
customers. The valves are manufactured from composite
plastics and are designed to provide high flow
rates over a wide range of applications, providing
our OEMs a great deal of flexibility in system
design, and greatly reducing their inventory requirements.

Mechanical Meter that will still
count your water usage even in the event of a
power failure. this meter consist of a dome that
is on the back of the 2510 valve. Inside this
dome is an impeller. Coming off the top of the
dome is a cable that runs to the meter assembly
that is attached to the 2510 controller. When
you use water, the impeller turns and that turns
the cable, the cable is what turns the meter assembly
which is where you have set the amount of gallons
you are going to use before a regeneration.
The main difference between the 5600
model and the 2510 is:
1) Metal Back plate that holds all the components
instead of plastic brackets.
2) The valve is 1" internally giving you
higher flow rates with less pressure drop than
the 5600 fleck valves.
3) Has Two motors instead of one. Uses a Timer
motor to keep the time of day and has a heavy
duty Myrcle Drive motor that is attached directly
to the piston which eliminates a lot of gear movement.

resin cuts your salt and water usage in half saving

of by gallons. You have the ability to set it

The problem is that they do not know when the
resin is at its full capacity like a metered on
demand system does, which sometimes causes you
to run out of treated water before it regenerates
or regenerate when it does not need to thus wasting
water and salt.
Benefit:
If you are on your own private well with iron
levels above 2 ppm or mg/L then the time clock
style may be a better choice for you being it
will regenerate the resin more often keeping the
resin clean and from fouling out by the iron.
